I prepare this recipe often for lunch and dinner. bhindi fry is known by a different name in my family – bhindi ki bhujia. I personally like this recipe because it is very light, healthy and is made very quickly. it doesn’t take much time and uses fewer ingredients. the taste of this recipe is really nice. all the ingredients are easily available at home and you can make it very easily.

oil – 3 tablespoon
bhindi – 500g, cut it into small pieces
green Chilly – 2 chopped
turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon
kashmiri red chilly powder – ½ teaspoon
first of all, wash the bhindi and wipe off with a kitchen cloth and cut it into small pieces. like this.
then take a pan and the flame on. when the pan is going to be heated, add oil and heat it too. after this, add chopped green chillies in the oil.
when the chillies start to sputter, add bhindi and mix properly and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes. mix it with spatula time to time. try not to burn.
after 4 minutes you will see the bhindi is going to be sticky. then add turmeric powder and red chilly powder. mix well again and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes. I’ve added chilly powder for colour, you can skip it.
the last step is going to be adding salt as per taste and mix again and cook for 2 minutes.
Now Bhindi fry is ready. Serve hot with chapati, paratha, dal-chawal and enjoy.
- I’ve added green chilly for tadka but you can add jeera seed or mustard seeds.
- for good result do not cook in a non-stick pan.
